Information regarding the records you are requesting:

In accordance with the Ohio Public Records Act, New Lexington Police Department is responsible for inspection and release of public records.
Public records are made available during regular business hours, with exception of published holidays. Public records requested will be
promptly fulfilled within a reasonable time period, typically 7-10 business days. Records kept by New Lexington Police Department are
accessible by the public unless they are exempt from disclosure under Ohio Law. New Lexington Police Department is responsible for the lease
of public records within its department to include incident and accident reports. All other request for public records shall be directed to the
Village Administrator’s Office. The processing fee for accident reports are $5.00, all other copies are $0.15 per page. Records provided on a
disk are $1.00 per disk. You will also be responsible for additional fees associated with the delivery of the records, such as postage. Only
completed reports approved by a supervisor will be released. Payment is required prior to the release of records. This request corresponds
with R.C 149.43 in accordance with Public Records. (Revised 11/20/2023)
