Description of Project:
The Village of New Lexington will select a contractor to replace the media for one 15.3 sq ft gravity filter and one flow control valve.

Bids will be accepted for material and installation portion of the project. The Village of New Lexington will receive bids until 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 20, 2021 at New Lexington Village Hall, 215 S Main Street, New Lexington, OH 43764. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.

Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after specified closing time. All interested parties are invited to attend.


Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents (including plans, specifications, and all subsequent addenda) for a non-refundable cost as shown below:

Only bidders who have requested a set of documents may submit a bid on the project and will be the only entities to receive addenda.


Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.


No bidder shall be permitted to withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of opening bids.


Should any bid be rejected, the accompanying bid bond, or check, will be returned to the bidder forthwith and should any bid be accepted, the check, or bid bond will be returned upon the proper execution and securing of the contract.


The right is reserved, by the Village of New Lexington, to reject any or all bids.
