Village of New Lex Residents: Due to the Snow Fall and Winter Storm arriving this weekend, there will be NO Parking on North or South Main Street beginning at 5:00pm Saturday January 24th, 2026. This will allow our crews to maintain a safe and effective snow removal operation. We appreciate everyones cooperation while we keep our roads safe for our residents.
Codified Ordinance:
(a) At such time as there is a two-inch accumulation of snow and/or freezing rain, there shall be no parking on North or South Main Street within the City.
(b) Any motor vehicle in violation hereof shall be towed away at the expense of the owner of said vehicle.
(c) At the time of a two-inch accumulation of snow and/or freezing rain, the Mayor will call a parking emergency on North and South Main Street.
